Joe Pallazola Passing
It is with Great Sorrow and yet with some Joy, that we announce the passing of Joseph Pallazola on January 20th, 2022. The Sorrow is for us- that we will no longer see him on earth with us- His great smile, quick whit and kindness will be greatly missed. The Joy is that we know where he is heading, JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU.
He died peacefully in his own home with the last sacraments and with people who love him at his side. He worked for 25 years teaching, promoting and spreading the message of Divine Mercy. Here are just 2 of the promises that Jesus told St Faustina to write in her diary.
(1075) – “Souls who spread the honor of My mercy I shield through their entire lives as a tender mother her infant, and at the hour of death I will not be a Judge for them, but the Merciful Savior….”
and again
(1540) – “My daughter, write down these words: All those souls who will glorify My mercy and spread it’s worship, encouraging others to trust in My mercy, will not experience terror at the hour of death. My mercy will shield them in that final battle….”
Many of you have known Joe for some time. If you would like to honor him and at the same time help spread the message of Divine Mercy, in lieu of flowers, you can go to the Marian’s website: www.memorialsonedenhill.org/donate.
His funeral was at St Mary Magdalene Church: 1145 Illinois St. San Diego 92110, on Feb.19 at 10am (Rosary and Chaplet) and Mass at 11 a.m. Due to Covid a celebration of life will be held at a later time.
